About Pho Hiep & Grill
Pho Hiep & Grill is a vietnamese in Chula Vista, California. It is listed at 539 Telegraph Canyon Rd, Chula Vista, CA 91910, which places it among the local businesses of Chula Vista that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as pho restaurant, so it may cover more than the name suggests.
Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Chula Vista, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across California run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 9 amβ9 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Pho Hiep & Grill at (619) 482-8883; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. More information is available on its website, phohiepgrill.com.

Chula Vista is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Chula Vista follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Came here to order 2 appetizers for take out. I asked to remove one item and the older man at the counter said its too late I already entered it. I hadn't even swiped my card and it was still on the tipping screen and nothing processed. Nice try trying to take advantage of customers!!! I told him if you cant figure out how to delete one item then to delete the entire order. All of a sudden he magically remembered how to do it. I know times are tough but no need to take advantage of costumers. If they love the food and service the ppl will come on their own. I will never return again. Yes I was still nice enough to tip bc I felt sorry he felt the need to desperately do such a thing. Go eat some where else! I recommend Noodle House on East 8th Street National City. Poor service is never worth the food.

Iβve been going here for twenty years and I just want to give some feedback: Food has been great, but itβs the service. Before, it would be a few older gentlemen that would take care of your order and everything iβm was good. But in the past few years, itβs been waiters that look like they donβt even want to be there and I am posting this review so that the owners know this and donβt lose business on this! My two cents for the waiters: If there is nothing to do then always ask customers if they need anything. Check in with customers to see if they need anything and with a smile. I only want this business to do well!

We ate here last Monday night almost 9:00pm. We were surprised that they are still open and that there are still a lot of people coming in. We were seated in less than 20 minutes. We got our order fast enough. The food portions are good but I can't say the same with the Coconut juice. Don't order it because 3/4th of the glass is ice and the rest in juice. Also, the glass they use is slim or narrow like an inverted triangle. The Thai tea is typical size you get when you get a Boba drink. Other than that I will still recommend the place for soup but ask how they serve the drinks to make sure you get your money's worth. $5 is pricey for a 1/4 glass of coconut juice with one small piece of coconut jelly. When I tried to ask about it the waiter just didn't know how to respond or didn't even offer to give me another fill especially because the glass is mostly ice. Have coconut juice with your ICE. Also, do not order the lean brisket it has no taste and it's dry. I usually order chicken but I thought I will try the brisket.

I stopped by Pho Hiep and had a great experience. The service was friendly and efficient from the moment I walked in. I ordered the grilled beef and chicken, and both were flavorful, tender, and cooked perfectly. I also tried the shrimp and pork spring rolls, which were fresh, light, and a perfect starter. Overall, this place was a solid spot with good food and great service. Iβd definitely come back to try the other menu items!

Had a kids meatball pho. The broth was tasty and the meatballs were too. I ordered the vegertarian deep fried rolls and they were okay. Decent taste, mushy. This place is usually full. I like the artistic vibe in their decor with the paintings and the lighting. One of the servers with the dreads has pretty amazing hair. There is a big free parking lot right in front. This place is pretty good the only reason I gave it a 4 and not a 5 is because other places the dishes come garnished with more side items.
